Acetyl-p-nitrophenyl sulfanilamide (also known as acetyl-p-nitrophenyl sulfanilamide, or APNS) is an organic compound used in some drugs and as a synthetic compound in other Intermediates of compounds. It is an important component of some antibiotics, antifungals and anti-inflammatory agents. It comes in the form of a white to off-white crystalline powder that is insoluble in water.

Sulfanitran is a sulfonamide antibiotic used in the poultry industry. It is a component of Novastat, Polystat and Unistat, brands of feed additives used to control Coccidioides spp.
