Sandra Chan Yoga & Movement

Sandra Chan is a Level 2 Forrest Yoga®️ and meditation teacher. She is also an experienced bodyworker and Reiki practitioner with 10 years of experience in movement research and yoga practice. 

Sandra came to Forrest Yoga®️ when she was completely burnt out as a young female entrepreneur in tech, having struggled with anxiety and depression. Forrest Yoga®️ has helped Sandra learn how to breathe deeply, reconnect with her feelings & emotions-and her true self.

Sandra is blessed to be initiated by Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati himself at the Bihar School of Yoga in India in 2018 (Mantra Diksha). Sandra is also under the mentorship & guidance of renowned international teacher & Forrest Yoga Guardian Jambo Truong, who discovered her gifts in healing with hands-on assist in yoga classes, as well as bodyworks & Reiki.

Sandra's yoga classes specialize in helping students relax the tension in the body (especially neck,shoulders and lower back)
with hands-on assists; calming the mind while strengthening the body. Her class can be challenging, yet full of laughter, allowing students to find strength from within their levels and inspire them to continuously improve.


Students will develop deeper breathing and a connection to their own body with a peaceful mind, while feeling nourished and recharged after class. Her ultimate goal is to help students connect with their body more through yoga, so they learn to become stronger, more flexible and feel more balanced on and off the mat.

With over a decade of movement research as a dancer and experience in training the trainer in the tech education industry, Sandra has rich experience guiding students of varying levels and body types. With her yoga teacher career, Sandra has worked with students who are recovering from lower back injuries, cancer, as well as special needs children. 


As a certified rescue scuba diver and underwater photographer, Sandra is passionate about the ocean and is a firm believer of the connection between nature and the human spirit.
