What is valine?
Valine is a branched-chain essential amino acid. This means your body doesn't produce it and you have to get it through diet. Branched-chain amino acids are used by your body to help produce energy.
Valine is found primarily in protein food sources such as meat, fish, soy, and dairy products. But it's also found in other foods, including some nuts, vegetables and whole grains.
