Spanish lime (Mamoncillo) (scientific name: Melicoccus bijugatus) is also known as honey fruit . A fruit that looks like a lime on the outside and a lychee on the inside, or commonly known as the Spanish lime. The Spanish lime is a tiny green fruit, about 3-4 cm in diameter, almost round in shape, with a large white seed in the center of the gelatinous pulp.
