What foods contain ammonium alginate?
It is used in all dairy products, creams, emulsified fat spreads with or without flavours, sauces, ice creams, processed, pickled fruits and vegetables, meat products, food supplements, etc. Ammonium alginate is not allowed in food intended for infants and young children.
