E127 赤藓红

Erythrosine, also known as Red No. 3, is an organic iodine compound, specifically a derivative of fluorone. It is a cherry pink synthetic that is mainly used for food coloring. It is the disodium salt of 2,4,5,7-tetraiodofluorescein. It has a maximum absorbance of 530 nm in aqueous solution and is subject to photodegradation

E127 is a food additive approved by the European Union (EU). It is used as a synthetic colorant in food and beverage products and photography.

The common name for E127 is erythrosine.

E127 is a pink/red pigment that contains iodine and is highly soluble in water. It is also used in dentistry as a plaque disclosing agent and in photography as a printing ink.

E127 is known to promote ADHD, although this is thought to be rare. Due to the iodine content of E127, its high concentrations may interfere with an individual's iodine metabolism. E127 may also act as a mutagen at extreme concentrations and has been known to cause sensitivity to light.

Examples of food and beverage products that sometimes contain E127:
