Source/purpose
NTA is used as a chelating and chelating agent, and as a builder in synthetic detergents.
It is also used as an eluent in the purification of rare earth elements, as a boiler feed water additive, in water and textile processing, metal plating and cleaning, and in pulp and paper processing.
NTA is not used directly as a cosmetic ingredient but is present as an additive in some ingredients.
