- 4 (12 oz) salmon steaks (boneless)
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp. Honey
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- fresh chopped parsley
- Season salmon on both sides with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add salmon steaks and cook until golden brown on bottom, 5 minutes, then flip. Add garlic, lemon juice, honey and red pepper flakes. Cook until salmon is cooked through, 5 minutes more, spooning sauce over while salmon is cooked.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
