Chicken Liver Health Benefits
Chicken liver is a valuable source of vitamin A, which is essential for maintaining eye health and preventing vision problems. It can be beneficial for people with impairments because it can reverse temporary visual impairment. Anemia is common in young girls and women and is caused by a lack of vitamin B9 and iron, resulting in low red blood cell counts. This can lead to weakness, fatigue, and other symptoms. Iron and folic acid supplementation are recommended as primary treatments for anemia. However, research shows that supplements may reduce levels of zinc, calcium, and magnesium. Consuming natural sources of these nutrients, such as chicken liver, is a potential solution. In addition, chicken liver is rich in selenium, which can improve thyroid function and combat hypothyroidism.
