燃燒蠟燭對您的健康安全還是有害?

Is burning candles safe or harmful to your health?

Healthy PIG
Long before the invention of the light bulb, candles and lanterns were our primary sources of light. In today's world, candles are used for decoration, rituals and to release relaxing scents. Most modern candles are made from paraffin wax, but they are also often made from beeswax, soy wax, or palm wax. There is some debate about whether burning candles is bad for your health. Some people claim candles release potentially harmful toxins. However, those on the other side of the argument say candles don't contain enough of these toxins to pose a health risk. We'll look at what science has found about burning candles and separate the facts from common misconceptions.

Red Blood Cells in Exercise: Effects of Exercise and Training on Red Blood Cell Oxygen Supply

Healthy PIG
During exercise, the cardiovascular system must ensure a substrate for the working muscles. The main function of red blood cells during exercise is to transport O 2 CO transport from lungs to tissues and metabolic production 2 transportation. Exhale into the lungs. Hemoglobin also contributes to the buffering capacity of the blood, while ATP and NO released by red blood cells help vasodilation and improve blood flow to working muscles. These functions require adequate numbers of red blood cells in circulation. Trained athletes, especially endurance athletes, have a reduced hematocrit, which is sometimes called "exercise anemia." This is not anemia in the clinical sense because athletes actually have an increased total amount of circulating red blood cells and hemoglobin compared to sedentary people. The slight training-induced decrease in hematocrit is caused by an increase in plasma volume (PV). The mechanisms by which total red blood cell mass increases with training are not fully understood. Despite stimulating erythropoiesis, exercise can reduce red blood cell mass, primarily senescent red blood cells, through intravascular hemolysis, due to mechanical rupture of red blood cells as they pass through capillaries in contracting muscles, as well as red blood cell stress (e.g., during running or running caused by the soles of the feet). Taken together, these adjustments result in a decrease in the mean age of circulating red blood cells in highly trained athletes. These younger red blood cells are characterized by improved oxygen release and deformability, both of which also improve tissue oxygen supply during exercise.

What causes chronic pain?

Healthy PIG
Everyone experiences occasional pain. In fact, sudden pain is an important response of the nervous system that helps alert you to possible injury. When an injury occurs, pain signals travel up the spinal cord from the injured area to the brain.
As the wound heals, the pain usually becomes less severe. However, chronic pain is different from typical pain. With chronic pain, your body continues to send pain signals to your brain even after the injury heals. This can last from weeks to years. Chronic pain can limit your mobility and reduce your flexibility, strength, and endurance. This can make completing daily tasks and activities challenging.
Chronic pain is defined as pain that lasts for at least 12 weeks. The pain may feel sharp or dull, causing a burning or aching sensation in the affected area. It may be steady or it may be intermittent, coming and going without any apparent reason. Chronic pain can occur almost anywhere in your body. Pain may be felt differently in different affected areas.
